A Message from Jay…
Our country is hanging on the edge of a cliff. I believe the 2012 elections will be some of the most important in our nation’s history. Ronald Reagan said: “The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people; too much authority from the states and too much liberty with the Constitution.” It was true when he said it then and even more true today.
But the tide can and will be turned—one race at a time. The race in the 7th district is one of those races. I am not a politician and while I’ve never run for public office, we only need look back at our history—The men who founded our nation had never run for political office either but they were willing to make the effort.
In that same spirit of the citizen-legislator, I am running for Congress in the new 7th District.
We have an historic opportunity. We need to send someone to Washington whose values and convictions reflect those of the wonderful people who call the 7th District home.
I look forward to traveling the new 7th to meet my new friends, neighbors and patriots interested in taking our country back from career politicians.
