Florence – Jay Jordan, Republican candidate for Congress in South Carolina’s new 7th Congressional District announced today that he raised over $200,000 in just 2 months of fundraising in his first fundraising report since announcing for Congress last year.
“The outpouring of support our campaign has received in just 2 months of fundraising has been humbling and encouraging,” said Jay Jordan. “It is clear that the folks in the Pee Dee and along the Beach are looking for something new – a leader who is not a typical politician, a leader who can and will stand in the way of the compromise politics of Washington and a leader will stand on conservative and moral principles.”
Jay Jordan’s 4th Quarter report will show he raised $206,000 from 244 donors in just 2 months with over 96% of those donors being from inside the new 7th Congressional District.
“This country is on the wrong track and our values are being trampled,” said Jay Jordan. “I am running for Congress to restore those values that have been lost and ignored by politicians in Washington. The need is great for new, conservative and courageous leadership in Washington – it is time to fight for the freedom to save our future.”
Jay Jordan is a small business owner and attorney in Florence. Jay and his wife, Tara, have three children: Wallace, Lana Claire and William Monroe.
